What is the definition or description of: elmiron (pentosan) allergy?

Drug for bladder: Elmiron is the drug used for bldder problem( interstitial cystitis. It is suppose to repair the lining of the bladder. Allergic reaction will caue exagerated bladder pain, urinary frequency gets worse. Also general symptomms like hives may occour.
