Usually progressive: Symptoms from lung cancer generally indicate a progressed Stage of disease and are usually persistent and worsening - the exception being a pneumonia that will not clear with antibiotics because it is trapped behind a small lung cancer. Chest pain, coughing up blood, weight loss, bone pain, and headaches or neurologic symptoms are all symptoms associated with late stage lung cancer.
