Hard to tell: The ultrasound is relatively reliable after 18-20 weeks when read by an experienced radiologist. In simple terms "the turtle must stick his head out" to see boy parts, and if they took enough time to evaluate the area it would be evident. I never bet the farm on an ultrasound. Although they are pretty good today I have seen them be wrong .
