Placental passage: If the twins are made from two separate eggs/sperm(fraternal) hen they will have separate placentas which will pass after the last twin is delivered. Identical twins will have a common placenta and separate umbilical cords. The placenta will not pass until the uterus can contract down on them after the last child is born.
