Recontouring: A very small chip can be bonded with composite material to fill in the defect. Because the restoration would not be supported by walls of tooth structure, it would be prone to debonding. Your dentist may also be able to recontour the enamel so that the the defect is no longer visible. Both are simple, easy solutions.
