Hello sir my husbands bilirubin levels total bilirubin is 1.4mg/dl direct 0.4mg/dl indirect 1.0mg/dl...please tell me about his health condition.

Normal: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, bilirubin levels in about 5% of men are normally in the range you described or somewhat higher. These levels are not a cause for concern.
