Get it Fixed: It may be possible that your broken tooth is allowing food to collect in the gum tissue that surrounds the tooth. Or it may be that there is a crack in the tooth that goes below the gum. Either way, you need some attention to the tooth.

Dental Care: Until you can see the dentist (which should be ASAP), OTC pain meds will help but only to a point. Make it a priority to see a dentist tomorrow.
