Vitreous separation: hopefully, which is common and usually not serious, or retinal detachment, which is a very serious problem that could cause loss of sight. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell which of these is happening without an examination of the inside of the eye with a special scope and preferably by a specialist. You need to be seen, TODAY, in an ED that has an opthalmologist on call. Good luck!
