Albumin irrelevant: Make this judgment based on severity of your pain, whether it has been evaluated previously (and you suspect a particular cause), whether your diabetes is in good control, and other symptoms such as fever. The albumin test has no effect on whether or not you need to be seen uregently, routinely, or maybe not at all. Phone your doctor's office if you remain uncertain.
