A member asked:

Is getting an associates degree in radiology tech better than a bachelors? what classes should i take before going to a school with those programs?

Specializes in Diagnostic Radiology

A Bachelor's degree: is generally a 4 year degree, vs. 2 years for an Associate's. So a BS degree implies a greater degree of education/training than an AS degree. A BS will make you more marketable, and some employers may require a BS. Science/physics courses would be helpful, but contact the programs you are interested in for more specific suggestions.
