A member asked:

How long did it take you to get out of debt from schooling? was paying for school really hard? how did you pay for it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Medical School Debt: Average medical school debt is now around $180, 000. Paid mine off in 18 years. Yes, it is the same as a mortgage payment. Yes it is a burden, and more so for today's new grads. Going through a military scholarship is probably a better approach.
