There is no: "standard of care" for this condition since MANY "Treatments" exists and any one of them could help! Avoidance of OPIATES is now a sort of "Standard" as we try to reduce overuse of these medications. TENS stimulation appears to be helpful in many cases Hope this helps! Dr Z
