How so ?: Docs often pre-screen women who want to get pregnant for risk factors.One screen is the rubella titer that has separate IGG and IGM findings. If your IGM is up, you had rubella recently and should wait a few months before trying.If your IGG is up, you either had it or had the shot and any baby you have will not be at risk.There is no treatment for rubella, just the shot that prevents it.
