What is the risk of rubella positive when pregnant?

Congenital rubella: Usually if you have a positive titer(test) for your screening it means you are immune to rubella. This is good. It means that you had an MMR vaccine and you made protection against it. Babies born with congenital rubella can have a bumpy purple rash and seizures especially.

Depends-which test: A positive igg to rubella prior to or during pregnancy means you are at low risk. This is the usual OB screening test. A positive igm during pregnancy will mean recent infection & the risk of a rubella baby.
