1st MRI? What used?: Was this ur 1st MRI (in your life)? If so, you probably were (& are still) anxious about what to expect, which can heighten sensitivity to injected MRI contrast. Rarely, however, do problems develop this quickly (1 week) after injection. Do you know what type or name of contrast was injected? (Low osmolar? Omnipaque?) Phlebitis or: cellulitis a rare complication, but possible. See your doctor for an evaluation. There shouldn't be increasing pain 7 days following a routine contrast injection.
