1st MRI? What used?: Was this ur 1st MRI (in your life)? If so, you probably were (& are still) anxious about what to expect, which can heighten sensitivity to injected MRI contrast. Phlebitis or: cellulitis a rare complication, but possible. See your doctor for an evaluation. There shouldn't be increasing pain 7 days following a routine contrast injection.
