Stroke: I am sorry to hear about your father. If this was an ischemic stroke (the ones where blood flow to the brain is interrupted) new data suggest that most stroke victims do improve and may continue to show signs of recovery even years after the stroke. That, obviously, will depend on stroke size and other concomitant diseases or complications. I wish him a meaningful recovery.
