I mistakenly put compound w gel on a wound with stitches instead of polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin). what can i do now?

Wash: Rinse off with tap water. Then throw away the polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin). Polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) is useless and may cause allergic reactions.
