No: It is never safe to smoke a cigarette. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Smoking? No!: Smoking is dangerous to your general health and tends to delay healing of the wound site. I hope you care about both. I have seen the ravages of oral and throat cancer. It's not pretty. No!: It's never safe to smoke a cigarette. Smoking causes or exacerbates delay in surgical healing, loss of gum tissue and underlying bone, heart disease, stroke, oral cancer, pharyngeal cancer, and bone repair delay. Smoking has been implicated in diabetes, displacement of extraction site clot with resulting bone infected, stroke, aging skin, liver and kidney damage, bad breath, lung cancer, etc.
