Not really: A dry socket can occur several weeks out. I've seen it as an ER doctor. So, stay vigilant.

See your instruction: I'm sure if you saw an Oral Surgeon that they gave you very specific both written and verbal instructions. Follow the instructions to the letter. If you have concerns, schedule a post-surgical reevaluation.

Probably : Most dry sockets occur in the 3-5 day window after dental extractions. If the pain and swelling are subsiding and you feel better chances are you will be fine. See your doctor if any issues develop or symptoms reappear.
