PSYCH v PHYSICAL: "Dependence" = "craving" a psychological need for the effect of a chemical...many chemicals can produce dependence (including sugar!!!!) Addiction produces a whole "bunch" of PHYSICAL effects, shakiness, muscle aches, sweating, "goosebumps", nausea/vomiting, to mention a few! Hope this helps! Dr Z
