Either Way: The FDA advises once a day dosing however, unlike antibiotics or bp meds, the only thing that matters is how the patient "feels". Buprenorphine/Naloxone is intended to satisfy the craving for opiates without the dose dependent "high" provided by oxycodone. The smallest dose that accomplishes the goal of abstinence taken at once or in divided doses is best determined by the committed patient.

Zubsolv trial: Since this was prescribed as a trial dose it should initially be taken once and the second dose should be taken depending on his response (e.g. COWS scale) or via conversation with the doctor.
