is oxycontin actually more addictive and deadly than heroin and cocaine combined?

Variable: Abuse of any of the drugs can be deadly, but cocaine is not an opioid, but rather a sympathomimetic amine which can provoke heart attacks and stokes, killing in that fashion. Heroin can cause apnea, but so can any other narcotic in sufficient dosage. All are clearly addictive.

It depends.: Some commercially available tests distinguish between natural and synthetic opiates. Others do not.
