Conus: The conus is the tip of the spinal cord and inflammation would be a serious pathological finding and I would assume that it would be associated with very significant symptoms and neurological abnormalities. I also assume that a neurologist is involved in your care and has reviewed the MRI findings with the radiologist who interpreted the images, gave a differential diagnosis and recheck advice
