TSH came back yesterday at 13. On Synthroid (thyroxine) for years. 2nd child 6 mo ago. Doctor has incr dose twice but said to just stay at 200 and see again 6wks?
High TPO. TSH 2.36. Has been as high as 3.5 in last 2 years. Full workup, tests, and 10 doctors later, new PCP wants to trial low dose thyroxine for 6 wks to see if fatigue and other sx improve. Am I wrong to be nervous to try since TSH is in range?
