Immediate load Imp: Although inviting, I personally try to shy away from immediately loaded dental implant restorations. I think the chances are better for long term success that way. There are indications when immediate loading may be indicated. It stays by being wedged in the bone but there is no osseointegration so it is more prone to stresses, movement and failure.

Immediate Load: I am not a fan of immediate load implants... that is my personal opinion. If you break your arm, you wear a cast for two months to keep the fracture immobile, allowing time for the bone to heal, right? Dental implants are no different. We live in a world of instant results... sometimes it's better to wait a while. OMAX vs who?

Implant healing: While immediate load implants sound good, it does take some time for the bone to heal around an implant and stresses early in the healing process can compromise your healing and integration of the implant in your bone. Immediate load implants have a higher risk of failure.
