Get it checked: A hard lump under this skin need not be an ominous sign. There are many causes from impacted hair follicles to sebaceous cysts to fibromas. All benign but to be safe its best to have a doctor examine the lump and simply excise it under local anesthesia and possibly sent it to pathology for sure identification
