A member asked:

My mom (age 45) has chronic bone pain in her: back, chest, shoulders, ribs, arm, hand, knees, neck. blood test = fine. chest x-ray: aside from scratches, it was stated as fine. worried about lung cancer. does this sound like lung cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generalized bone pain can be due to injury, osteomyelitis, hypothyroidism, primary bone cancer and metastatic breast cancer. Check sedimentation rate, CRP, tsh and workup for cancer breast. Dexascan and vitamin D should be tested. Hope it helps.
