Antibiotics?: Dentists may disagree on whether or not to prescribe antibiotics with the circumstances you described. It also depends upon your medical history, whether the infection is acute or chronic, the size of the infection, the difficulty of the extraction & which tooth we're talking about. Your own dentist should make that decision. Generally speaking, I would err on the side of caution & take antibiotic
