You may have: fractured it at the time of the skateboarding accident .... you don't say whether you had it properly evaluated and treated at that time. It may have healed improperly. Only an Orthopedic Hand specialist could tell you if there is anything that can be done about it now. I would make an appointment. Good wishes:)
