Could be structural: You may have a problem with the tendons and/or ligaments of your wrist. Please see an orthopedic hand/wrist specialist, to get the proper care.

Wrist pain has: Many causes but in a healthy athletic 25 year old with history of trauma/injury the more common things on my probable list are old scaphoid or carpal fracture, with either a non union or malunion, old carpal bone ligament injury such as scapholunate dissociation, a torn cartilage such as the tfcc, a nonunited hamate fracture , and others but i only get 400 letters..See pcp /hand surgeon etc.
