More likely you have: had a carpal fracture that did not heal properly, perhaps a nonunion. The location of the pain suggests lunate or scaphoid fracture, though a severe ligament strain or subluxation may cause the same. A distal radius fracture will also produce chronic pain if not healed properly. You need to see a hand orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
