A member asked:

This is my first time trying to conceive and i have had 6 days of positive opks. should i go to the doctor? i read online that i could have pcos.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible PCOS: The ovulation predictor kits don't work for every woman. PCOS patients usually have irregular cycles. Also they can have persistently elevated LH levels (which is why OPKs don't work for them). Other signs of PCOS are extra hair growth and weight gain. Does any of this sound like your case? See your doctor for non-emergent consultation.
