Settles down: Expired medications rarely cause any problems. You may be experiencing something else. Have your doctor take a look if it persists. Straight water irrigation of the ear not a good idea.

Ear wax stuck in ear? I took a shower last night and i still have some sort of water/wax buildup impairing my hearing in my left ear. I tried dropping rubbing alcohol in it and using an expired tube of debrox, but no luck, yet also no physical pain.
