Throughout history..: The father of the baby is the man she is married to. That being said, two type A parents can have type A or type O babies. An Rh positive parent and an Rh negative parent can have Rh positive or Rh negative babies. Thus, an A- wife and a A+ husband can have O-, O+, A-, or A+ babies. In this case, Mom is AOdd, Dad is AODd, and their baby OOdd. The "D" or "d" are Rh types... sorry if it's confusing.
