For what reason wouldn't every food allergy parent have their child desensitized?

Not available : Desensitization is done currently only in a research setting and not available for most children with allergies. Trials are generally reserved for children with the most severe reactions. As a mother of a child with food allergies i look forward to the day when such therapies are available to all.
