Frequent viruses: Does your father smoke? Or is he around others who do? Smoking/second-hand smoke create cellular damage (inflammation) that the body has to constantly work to repair, which makes the body more susceptible to infection. The immune system takes longer to control viruses and all infections in smokers. Lack of sleep and regular alcohol use can also lower the immune system. Or, maybe it is allergies?
