A member asked:

I have had a tumour removed which meant that one ear was disabled. is there any way i can compensate and improve my balance.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Walk and be active: Balance recovery following acoustic neuroma removal necessitates your brain integrating input from your other senses. To do this, your brain needs more exposure to these circumstances. Walking is a good way to do that. Also, repeating those situations that make you most dizzy also helps your brain to accomodate and minimize this.
