A member asked:

Is it appropriate to take valium for pain relief when paracetamol, ibuprofen, codeine giving little relief? or is of little use for this purpose?

NO Valium: This is a sedative tranquilizer and muscle relaxant. Try stopping the codeine and ibuprofen. Take Aleve: 2 tab initially, then 1 tab every 6-8h. Valium has not place in therapy unless muscular spasm is involved.
