Tender gums: This is not normal, and it could be an unhealed infection from the tooth, a gum infection, a fractured tooth, etc. A diagnosis can only be made with a visual and clinical exam with x-rays. Make an appointment to see your dentist.

Return: Return to Dentist or Endodontic Specialist for reevaluation. Pain and swelling are not normal. Rx may be relatively simple, especially if treatment is not put off.
