Possibly: I assume you had symptoms that made your doctor think to order that test. I tell my patients that if they have "typical" gallbladder symptoms and the HIDA scan is abnormal, which yours is, that about 95% of people improve after removing the gallbladder. If your symptoms are such that you can't live with them, then discussing it with your surgeon is appropriate.
