Proteinuria: Protein in the urine is not a normal finding. First need to quantitate the protein loss. Get the child checked out by her Pediatrician

The first step is to repeat the urine specimen. Why did she have urine tested? Best to use a first morning specimen - empty bladder before bed and collect the first AM urine.
