Blood: Usually bright red blood results from hemorrhoidal bleeding and is less concerning than a darker, purplish jelly like blood which stems from higher up. See a doctor today. Check a CBC to evaluate for anemia. Have an exam to see if you have bleeding hemorrhoids. Stop any blood thinners like aspiring. Please get help.
