A member asked:

I have hypothyroidism and don't feel like my treatment is working. at what point might a doctor suspect hashimoto's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypothyroid: You MUST tell your doctor that you are concerned about thyroid hormone, particularly because it does not seem strong enough. The doctor will order thyroid hormones in the lab and make decisions after the results are in. More than likely you will need more thyroid medicine. Please let me know how things go.
