My neck has been hurting for 5 days now and my ear starting hurting to day at around 12:00am. please help.

Ear ache: The neck discomfort and the ear ache may not be related,but an inflamed throat can cause referred pain to the ear. Another possibility is a viral infection causing inflammation of lymph nodes in the neck and an upper respiratory tract or throat infection. If pain definitely localizes to the ear, you should be examined for a middle ear infection which requires antibiotic treatment and ear drops.
