Difficult to diagnos: In websites like this, we can't do an exam. 95% of our diagnosis comes from listening but there are simply those which we need to see to diagnose. Yours is one of them. Pressure in the eardrum from infection or congestion can cause pain and no drainage unless there is perforation. It is best to see your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
