Seasonal flu: is very common viral infection with symptoms you have described. Usually the condition resolves on its own with home care. Drink water and get a good rest. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is also recommended every 6 hours. If concerned, see your PCP after 7-8 days or so.

Sore throat & such: Have you had a fever? It's important that you drink plenty of water during a cold. You can take advil (ibuprofen) cold and sinus and do warm salt water gargles to alleviate the sore throat. If not better in a few days you need to go see the doctor
