A member asked:

My son has thrown up a few times and then started to have tingly, numb cramped up hands. seems to have fever.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Electrolyte losses: With vomiting, you lose salts as well as fluids. Your son has probably lost a vital amount of salt and now is experiencing muscle irritability because of that. I would advise getting to an Emergency Room or Urgent Care center right away. IV fluids with re-balance of the electrolytes will resolve this problem. Hope you can get help now -it is very important.
