Many treatments: Start with physical therapy and core conditioning. At some point an epidural steroid injection might be helpful. If all else fails and your symptoms impact your activities of daily living, surgery can be curative. I would suggest seeing a spine surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery if it comes to that.

Degenerative spondy: You have spinal stenosis from the degenerative spondylolisthesis. You flex forward, stoop on grocery cart, and sit down after walking, to allow blood flow to resume into your spinal nerves. Walk, pain, sit, quits. Classic symptoms of neurogenic claudication (leg pain with spinal stenosis). Upright pain, creates more pressure on already tight spinal canal. Nerve blocks, pt, surgery if all fails.
