Pain shooting straight down leg from hip to foot, all on front & side, not on back. sharp, stabby, like a nerve is being poked. cant walk or move well?

Severe leg pain: "Pain shooting down leg." Sometimes the nerves stem from arthritis, the hip, spine/discs where nerves exit between vertebrae and extend into leg and foot. Sometimes nerve entrapment occurs along the course of nerve distribution which can be painful. "Can't walk or move well…" Post suggests severe issue, see a doc -
