Nooo!: Naproxen is in a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). Their major side effect is that they interfere with the ability of platelets to clot. You state that you have bleeding ulcers. Do YOU think it wise to take a medicine which promotes bleeding when you have that condition? I wouldn't recommend that course of action even if you were paid to take it!!

Short answer is NO: For arthritic type pain and pain of a mild nature your best medicine especially is Tylenol (acetaminophen) which will not cause more bleeding. If that does not help talk with your family physician for advice. At your age you do not want to take any chances that will alter your blood coagulation system as will a medication like Naproxen or even aspirin. There are safe, specific drugs for bleeding ulcers.

Naprosyn (naproxen): It seems that naproxeno sodico stands for naproxen which is a non steroidal anti inflammatory medication. Excessive use of this medication or sometimes even regular use of this medication over time can cause bleeding ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract. If you have had bleeding ulcers or any ongoing bleeding issues you should avoid use of this medication.
